On 20^th May 2023 (Saturday) morning, “River Clean Up Drive” was organized in collaboration with Shemford Higher Sec. School, Zotlang at Chite River. 56 persons including, 47students along with 4 teachers and 6 MSBB staff were participated. Before the actual cleaning of the river, the importance Biodiversity and Waste management were highlighted to the students. 35 garbage bags of Plastic waste were collected from the river and dumped at the Tuirial Dumping Ground, a site recognized for dumping by Government of Mizoram.
